Abbotsford No Longer Crime Capital of Canada

Some time ago, Abbotsford had the unfortunate title of being the crime capital of Canada, and gangs brought crime and drugs to Abbotsford. Fortunately, they no longer hold that label. In Lower Mainland communities like Langley, Maple Ridge, Richmond, and Port Coquitlam, crime is down as well. However, according to Macleans, Port Coquitlam was also rocked a couple of years ago when they had the highest murder rate in Canada at 365 percent over the national average.
