Pardon Services Canada was pleased to support the Canadian Club of Vancouver’s special Order of Canada/Order of British Columbia luncheon.

The Honourable Chief Justice Robert J. Bauman delivered the keynote speech, “Is there a legal duty to do good?”

The special presentation was made on Tuesday, June 8.

Azmairnin Jadavji, CEO of Pardon Services Canada (second from left) was joined by (l-r) John Gregory, Thorsteinssons LLP, Paul A. Hildebrand, attorney; Shahrooz Nabavi, Fasken Martineau; Natasha Jadavji, intern; Sara Hanson, a former intern who is now a labour lawyer; Jon Kanngeisser, Lamar advertising; Athena Turner, PSC operations Manager; and Realtor Matt Greenwood, a former client advisor for PSC.

The Order of Canada recognizes outstanding achievement, dedication to the community and service to the nation. The recipients were Rudy Buttignol, Beverley Boys, Kenneth Denton Craig, Yolande Grise, Bill Henderson and Art Kube.

The Order of British Columbia recognizes those who have served with distinction and excelled in any field that benefits society. The recipients were Tim Collings, Wendy Lisogar-Cocchia, Kerry Dehenny, Ginny Dehenny, Norman Rolston, James Shepard, Tamara Taggart, Hari Varshney and Mel Zajac.
