Seeing our clients succeed is our #1 goal. Here’s Liam from Terrace, BC who recovered from his mistake and kept his past from limiting his future.

“When I was younger some friends of mine had arranged a house party at a residence that was unoccupied. The house was on a farm way out in the middle of nowhere, and with no neighbours in site we figured we’d get away with it. We were all still in high school, drank way too much and decided to vandalize the place. I was really impressionable back then, and I thought I would impress my friends by joining in on the vandalism. The whole night was just a slew of poor decisions, but senselessly breaking things that didn’t belong to me was the worst of it by far. I remember crying in front of the police officer afterwards, begging him to not tell the home owners who I was. He said that they would find out, and that I would have to accept my actions. I met them in court, they were an elderly couple that had been visiting family on Vancouver Island. I will never forget how sad they looked. They weren’t angry, but I could tell that they were in disbelief over how someone could do such a thing, and how there was absolutely no reasoning behind it. I’m a father now, and I didn’t want to pass on the same sense of reckless behaviour to my own children. A record suspension helped with that. I can volunteer at their schools, travel on vacation and with my name cleared, act as the positive role model I knew I always could be.”
