Seeing our clients succeed is our #1 goal. Here’s Travis from Montreal, who recovered from his mistake and kept his past from limiting his future.

“I was heavily into drugs when I was convicted 20 years ago. When I look back, I actually consider it a stroke of luck that I was caught at all. If I hadn’t been, things could have been a lot worse off. I was an addict, dependant on the pity of others, and I was in such a bad place I could easily have overdosed or died. Since then I have cleaned myself up completely. It was difficult at first going through rehab, I had moments where I didn’t think my life could get any worse, but eventually it paid off. I’ve had steady employment for over 15 years, and I consider myself a respected person in my community and a great father. While I had made a lot of positive changes in my life, I  felt in order to truly right my wrongs I needed to finally clear my name. It was really for the sake of my son, I didn’t want him to have to deal with my past reputation, and I wanted to give him a chance at life that I never got to experience growing up.”
