Seeing our clients succeed is our #1 goal. Here’s Colton from Sackville, who recovered from his mistake and kept his past from limiting his future.

“For years I was able to travel to the US without any implication from my criminal record, and I never once caused any problems. On a recent occasion I was denied, at the discretion of an officer, and was declared criminally inadmissible. A US customs official told me it was because of a 1995 conviction of a controlled substance. I had been caught with marijuana, I had been the passenger in the car, and when the officer asked if anyone had drugs, I cooperated and said yes. Having that offence at such a young age caused problems at home, but it also opened my eyes to the effects of heavy drug and alcohol use. I’m very remorseful for what I have done and for what I have put my family through. It is not who I am today. I’ve tried to lead a healthy life; I regularly attend the gym, I’ve lost a significant amount of weight and I haven’t used drugs in years. This pardon has helped me continue with the growth of my construction business, and I’ve been able to travel to and from the US without any worry.”
